Vacancy: Doctoral Research Fellowship in Scandinavian Studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (DE)
As of 1 December 2023, or by agreement, a part-time (65%) PhD position in Scandinavian Studies/Northern European Studies is to be filled at the Faculty of Linguistics and Literary Studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin for a period of three years. Application deadline: 27-09-2023
The position is part of the research project “Resonating networks. Discursive, spatial and personal hubs of research paradigms in Old Norse studies (1650–1950)”
A total of seven part projects will investigate the origins of central terminologies and concepts in international research on the Scandinavian Middle Ages from the 17th to the 20th century and their continuing impact in complex networks of researchers, research institutions and texts.
