Call for External Participants: The 20th Aarhus Old Norse Mythology Conference (DE)
The Nordeuropa-Institut at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin is pleased to announce that registration is now open for external participants for the upcoming conference, The 20th Aarhus Old Norse Mythology Conference: “Myths and Origin (and Myths of Origin)”, to be held in Berlin on November 20–21, 2025.
Nordeuropa-Institut at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin welcomes scholars and guests to the 20th Aarhus Old Norse Mythology Conference. The conference brings together leading international researchers to explore the theme of Origins in Old Norse mythology, literature, and cultural history.
Over two days, the program will feature talks and panels on the origins of myth, cosmogony and anthropogony, mythic knowledge, identity, heroes, and the gods. Speakers will come from universities and research institutions across Europe, North America, and beyond.
